"Bill" William D. Sinclair

William D. Sinclair, known as Bill, was born in San Diego, California, to Leroy William Sinclair and Anna Ruth Deal. He passed away at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy; his daughter, Debra Enger, and her husband, Mike; and his grandson, Daniel. His brother, Leroy William Jr., predeceased him.

Bill served as a radio operator in the U.S. Navy and built a career as an electronics technician. He spent much of his adult life in Tigard, Oregon, before relocating to Walla Walla later in life to be near his daughter and her family. His hobbies included ham radio operations, photography, fishing, and flying stunt kites on the Oregon Coast. He also shared his coaching skills in competitive rifle sports with many young people, including his daughter, Debra, and grandson, Daniel. Bill’s Navy service and years at Tektronix gave him many stories to carry through life.

His family will remember him for the knowledge, skills, and stories he shared throughout his life.

In accordance with Bill’s wishes, his ashes will be scattered in a mountain setting at a future time.

At Bill’s request, there will be no public service.
