Virginia Grace Taylor

October 26, 1931 — March 14, 2012

Virginia Grace Taylor 80, passed away March 14, 2012 at the Walla Walla General Hospital surrounded by her family.


Virginia was born October 26, 1931 at the Hot Lake Hospital and lived in Union, Oregon. Virginia and Milton “Mick” Taylor were married June 28, 1950 and moved to Walla Walla in 1959 to start their life together. They were soul mates and loved family and friends. They enjoyed many hobbies; camping, hunting, fishing, Rodeo and being with family and friends. Virginia was active in 4-H, the Eagles and Elks Lodges and the Alpha Beta Sorority were Virginia was a past president and member since 1955. Virginia was an excellent marksman and taught the art of shooting and hunting to her children and grand children. While raising her son and daughter she worked full-time at Sears and Roebuck for 35 years. After her retirement she flagged for John Deere with her husband all over the West Coast.

Virginia is survived by her Son, Rick Taylor of Walla Walla; Daughter, Sue Proctor of Prescott, WA.; Three Grand Children, two of Walla Walla and one of Seattle. Two Great-Grand Children and a little boy on the way. One Brother, Harold Hall of Union, Oregon.; One Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Dean and Marilyn Taylor of Walla Walla, WA.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Milton “Mick” Taylor and many friends. We are sure that she is enjoying the camp fire with each and every one of them.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:00PM in Union, Oregon.
