Trevett G. Sandberg, also known to many of us as “bubba” “T-Rex” or “QB” was born March 5, 1999. Many of us will remember Trevett most for his outlandish sense of humor. Whether it was karaoking on the couch or dancing in the middle of Dairy Queen, Trevett was always entertaining and brought laughter to those around him. He loved so many things in life, was ahead of his time and wise beyond his years. From his variety of hats to his Versace cologne all the way down to his red boots, Trevett always knew how to rock his style.
He had so many hobbies, interests, and such big dreams. His favorite sport was football, playing for the Razorbacks, Garrison Middle School, WP, and always rooting for the New York Giants. He also enjoyed soccer and basketball. Trevett played for Wa-Hi, attended many Whitman College games and traveled with his uncle and cousins to see Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat get the big win in Portland.
Trevett loved traveling, especially with his twin sister Taya, with whom he shared a very special bond. From the Oregon coast to the beaches in Florida, these two would always find a new adventure. He really loved being with his friends, writing music, and playing basketball at the YMCA. Trevett was a huge music enthusiast, attending as many concerts and music festivals as he could possibly fit in. His taste in music was highly versatile, ranging from A$AP Rocky to The Doors and everything in between. Trevett was a lover not a fighter. Whether it was coming around the corner screaming “WOOO!!!” scaring you out of your shoes, or helping someone in need, he always knew what people needed most.
As he would put it if he was leaving just for the day, “peace out”. We will all miss him deeply, but he will be in our hearts forever, and we will take him with us wherever we go. A celebration of life, open to the public, will be held for Trevett in late March. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trevett G. Sandberg memorial fund through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St., Walla Walla, WA 99362
