Tonia Gwen Anderson

Toni was born to Kime & Tabbie Easterling Meadows in Blytheville, Arkansas while Kime was stationed in the Air Force. She was the youngest of 3 children. They located to Walla Walla in 1969 when Kime was stationed there and the family took roots.

Toni attended Walla Walla schools and made many friends in the area. She was wild & an adventurous soul who could not be told she could not do it. She loved riding her motorcycle and tending to her herb garden and though she had no children of her own, she made it a point to spoil as many babies as she could; especially her nieces & nephews. Toni never turned down a truly needy person for anything. She was a most generous soul. Everyone who knew her loved her.

She met Victor, her true love, in 2000 at the College Place Post Office. They married in December 2007. She loved him & hoped to travel with him now in retirement. She now travels with Angels.

She is survived by her husband, Victor; stepsons, Mark (Jamie) Anderson & John Anderson all of Walla Walla; sister, Julie Meadows of Spokane; brother, Mitchell Meadows of Spokane; nieces & nephews, Jeremy (Andrea) Meadows, Clifford (Pamela) Sain III, Jesse (Kayla) Sain, Katie (Josh) Witherwax and numerous great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents & 1 great niece, Cammi Mae Sain.

Viewing & visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Children through the funeral home.
