Theresa Gaurascio

Theresa, 89, passed away at Park Manor Care Center.
She was born in Walla Walla, to Salvatore and Victoria Grano Gallo, the ninth of nine children.

She attended Jefferson Grade School and Walla Walla High School. She then worked as a waitress for a number of years. In 1946 she married George Roark at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They later divorced. She then married Sandy Guarascio, and they lived in Chicago for a number of years before moving back to Walla Walla. Sandy preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Dan) Clark and Pam Baker both of Walla Walla; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

Viewing and visitation will be held at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 2 p.m. until after the 7 p.m. Rosary. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
