Theodore Sauer

September 15, 1965 — January 29, 2014

Ted Sauer of College Place, WA formerly of Walla Walla passed away January 29, 2014 in College Place at the age of 49 years.

Theodore was born in Spokane, WA on September 15, 1965. He was brought to Walla Walla by his parents Helen and William Sauer. He attended Prospect Point Elementary School, Garrison Junior High and Walla Walla High School graduating in 1983. Ted played on various soccer and baseball teams at WA-HI. At the time of his graduation he was president of the National Honor Society and was working in the pro-shop at the Walla Walla Country Club, where he acquired his love for Golf. Ted earned a full scholarship to the University of Washington. While in college he worked many summer and part-time positions at Sports Rack and Red Robin in Seattle. After his graduation from the University of Washington he became a stock broker in Seattle for several years; until his illness brought him back to Walla Walla to be nearer to his family.

Survivors include his Parents William and Helen Sauer of Walla Walla, WA, Sister, Susan (Sauer)&Randy Kohler. Three Nephews- William, Jacob and Carter Kohler all of Walla Walla, WA. He is also survived many Aunts and Uncles and Cousins in Rochester, New York and in Los Angeles, CA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00PM at the Chapel of the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St., Walla Walla,WA 99362. Burial will follow the services at the funeral home at the Mountain View Cemetery in Walla Walla, WA.

Memorial Contributions may be sent to a charity of the donors choice through the funeral home.
