Born developmentally disabled, he spent the first half of his life separated from his family.  In the early 1980’s, due to reform in the care of disabled persons, he was placed in a group home in Walla Walla and was reconnected with his brother.

Teddy worked for Lillie Rice and Blue Mountain Industries, participated in Special Olympics, bowling and loved making new friends.  His passion for everything Elvis was legendary; he knew the words and tunes to almost every Elvis song and enjoyed singing along to his songs and songs of other artists.  Teddy’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with his brother and ride in his brothers’ big truck.  He had a passion for everything cars and his favorite, next to Tim’s big truck, was the yellow corvette. He also collected Matchbox cars and trucks.  Teddy loved all holidays especially Christmas and spending birthdays with Tim.

He was loved by all who knew him, especially by those who cared for him, for his sweet and gentle nature. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
