Susanna Lee Ingersoll-Lutcher

Susanna Lee Ingersoll-Lutcher, lovingly known as Susie, passed away on Thanksgiving night 2025 at the age of 64.

Susie was born on Valentine’s Day in 1961 in Torrance, California, to Jim and Patsy Ingersoll. She was the 5th of six children. Growing up in Rolling Hills, California, Susie was an avid swimmer, horse rider, tennis player, and golfer. She moved to Walla Walla, Washington, as a teen, where she attended Wa-Hi and the Community College’s nursing program. She was a dedicated registered nurse for many years, working at Washington Odd Fellows, Evergreen, and Hospice in both Walla Walla and Tri-Cities. Susie devoted her career to caring for others, especially at the end of their lives.

Outside of her profession, Susie found joy in raising her only daughter, tending to her garden, sewing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and her pets.

Susie is survived by her husband, Greg Lutcher; her daughter, Grace Burrows-Murphy; her granddaughter, Evelyn Murphy; her mother, Patsy Ingersoll; her siblings, Chris Ingersoll, Kirsten Stewart, Kathleen Ingersoll-Radburn, Drake Ingersoll, and Erika Winston; and many nieces, nephews, step-children, and step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Ingersoll.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Herring Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and join in honoring Susie’s life.
