Susan Proctor

Susan Proctor of Prescott, passed away in her sleep Tuesday, January 8, 2014.

Susie, as she was known to her friends, was born to Milton Taylor (deceased) and Virginia Taylor (deceased) on July, 6, 1954 in Walla Walla. Susie is survived by her husband, Geoffrey Proctor; daughter, Jessica Proctor; and brother, Richard Taylor.

During her younger years, Susie was an avid barrel racer and rodeo fair court princess in Walla Walla and a queen in the Pioneer Posse. She was a wonderful wife and mother not only her one child, but to the rest of the kids that called her mom, which is way too many people to count. Sue and Jeff were married on June, 25, 1988 where she immediately became a step grandmother to 1 child from Jeff’s daughter from a prior marriage. Jeff and Sue were soul mates from the beginning to the end of her life and beyond, and she was her daughter’s best friend.

Susie requested to have no services in the event of her passing so there will not be regular funeral, but at a later date family may be asked to attend a Celebration of Life. Any donations may be made to the SOS Clinic in Walla Walla as that is where Sue received her medical care for the last 5 years for free through the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
