Scott Lee Montgomery

Scott Lee Montgomery passed away at Harborview Medical Center on February 2, 2012 surrounded by family and friends at the age of 53.

The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2012 and a Memorial Funeral Mass at 1:30 pm Thursday February 9, 2012 both at Assumption Church. A celebration of life reception will follow Mass. There will be a private family internment. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashton D. Montgomery College Fund through Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.

Scott was born on August 17, 1958 in Walla Walla to Dale and Elaine Castoldi Montgomery. He graduated from Wa-Hi in 1976 and was employed by Nelson Irrigation for the last 35 years. He married Jill Dubbledee on April 4, 1992.

Scott enjoyed golf, boating, sports and fishing which always involved family and friends. Scott and Jill were avid Seahawk fans and enjoyed attending the games. Scott was a devoted father, husband and friend and enjoyed spending quality time with Ashton pursuing her sporting activities.

He is survived by his wife, Jill, and daughter, Ashton Montgomery both at the home, parents, Dale & Elaine Montgomery of Walla Walla, brother, Greg Montgomery of Portland, OR sister, LaVonne (Jeff) Strohmaier of Hillsboro, OR, niece, Andrea Strohmaier, nephew, Chase Strohmaier, in-laws Dood & Don Dubbledee and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
