Sandra "Sandi" Gregerson Rowse

Sandra "Sandi" Gregerson Rowse, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Walla Walla, Washington, on September 19, 2025, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving daughters, Devin and Michele, and her cherished grandchildren. Born on September 13, 1952, to Delores Hayden and Leonard Gregerson, Sandi brought warmth, kindness, and a love for life’s simple pleasures to all who knew her.

Sandi was preceded in death by her dear sister, Jeannie, and brother, Terry. She leaves behind a cherished legacy in her daughters, Devin and Michele, and her adored grandchildren, Alexis, Colton, Ricky, Miles, Kayla, Brandon, and Gavin. Sandi’s heart overflowed with love for her great-granddaughter, Savannah, whose presence brought her immense joy.

Sandi retired from Walmart after 23 years, where she cherished her time with associates and especially loved connecting with customers, whose smiles brightened her days. A woman of vibrant spirit, her favorite color was purple, and she delighted in the beauty of carnations. Her love for animals was boundless, often seen in her gentle care for pets and her appreciation for nature. Sandi was a constant presence at her grandchildren’s sporting and school events, cheering them on  with unwavering pride and support. She treasured her lunch dates, sampling homemade desserts, and driving the winding back roads of Walla Walla, where she found peace in the beauty of the countryside. She also enjoyed watching old movies and quiet moments spent sitting on the dock at the beach were among her favorite times, where she found solace in the rhythm of the waves.

Sandi had a sweet tooth and a knack for enjoying life’s treats. She was a regular at Dairy Queen, loved meals at El Sombrero, and savored Dutch hot chocolate, Pepsi, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, and Cheddar Ruffles. These small joys reflected her ability to find happiness in everyday moments.

Sandi’s memory will live on in the love she shared with her family and the countless lives she touched with her kindness. Her family invites friends to remember her vibrant spirit and the love she poured into her relationships.

Sandi’s viewing will be held at Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder Street, Walla Walla, WA, from 11am-6pm on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
