Ronald Scott Wolfe

Ronald Scott Wolfe, 69, passed away at home on Feb. 5, 2012.

Ron was born Nov. 28, 1942, in Greeley Colo. Graduated from Hillsboro High School 1961, where he excelled in wrestling and football. He served in the Air Force from 1962 – 1966, went to work for PPL in 1966, retired from PPL in 1997. He married Jo Morris in 1987. He belonged to the Eagles and American Legion. Ron loved bowling, fishing and WP sports.

He is survived by his wife Jo Wolfe; mother Gladys Wolfe; daughters, Judy Rierson (Barney), Kathy Melton (Barry), Linda Williams, Ronda Vansant; sons, David Morris (Sherrie) and Jimmy Williams; sister, Deb Leiferman (John); brothers, Mike Wolfe (Norma). He had nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father Tom Wolfe and two grandsons.

A service will be held Feb. 10, at 4 p.m. at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice through the Herring Funeral Home.
