Robert was born in Detroit, Mich., on Oct. 10, 1952, to Robert and Florence Nichols. He moved to Walla Walla in 2000, then transferred out of state. He and his wife retired in Farmington, N.M., and then moved back to Walla Walla in 2013.
His parents and wife proceeded him in death. He is survived by his children, Ramona, Kathleen, Chet and Raymond; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, at 12 p.m. with a graveside service following the memorial.
