Robert (Bob) Locati

Robert (Bob) Locati of Walla Walla, WA, passed away on the afternoon of November 23, 2025, at Providence St. Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla.

Robert was born on November 25, 1941, in Walla Walla, WA. He first married Suzanne Stazel on May 5, 1962, with whom he shared four children: Ruth, Andy, Ed, and Rob. On March 6, 1976, he married Claudine Schenk, and together they built a loving extended family with her two daughters, Tina and Cindy. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his children, Ruth (& Doug) Lancaster, Tina Downing, Edgar Locati, Rob (& Gina) Locati, Kristin Locati; and his grandchildren, Serenity Olson, Kylie (& Austin) Brown, Haleigh (& Jason) Reid, Ben Downing, Jessica (& Austin) Baarstad, Joe Lancaster, Alex Locati, Anthony Locati; and his great-grandchild, Harrison Brown. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard (& Jeannie) Locati and Dorothy Locati Averill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Locati; son, Andrew Locati; daughter, Cindy Locati; son-in-law, Craig Downing; and ex-wife, Suzanne Locati.

Viewing will be from 3:00 PM till after the rosary. The rosary services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at The Chapel of the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment will follow immediately after mass at Mountain View Cemetery, with a memorial reception following at St. Francis Parish Hall around 12:30 PM.
