RICHARD LEE CRANDALL
December 4, 1957—January 11, 2012

Richard “Rick” Crandall of Waitsburg, Washington passed away at the home of his sister, Robbie (Norm) Skiles on January 11, 2012.

He was born in Portland, Oregon on December 4, 1957. In 1976, he moved to Longbranch, Washington with his parents, Lois & Robert Crandall. Rick enjoyed outdoor work in Longbranch and winters in Yuma, AZ. Recently, he moved to Waitsburg to live with his sister & her husband. He will be remembered for his love of music, his ready handshake and happy greetings wherever he went.

Rick was a member of TOPS #1325 Lakebay, WA and attended TOPS #0358 in Yuma. For many years, he attended the Longbranch Community Church and recently attended the First Presbyterian Church of Waitsburg.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his mother, Lois; 2 sisters, Roberta Skiles (Norman) of Waitsburg and Judith Lawson of Walla Walla and several nieces & nephews.

The memorial funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Waitsburg with Rev. Bret Moser officiating. There will be a private family interment. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice, First Presbyterian Church of Waitsburg or Charity of Choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
