Reva Mae Ewing

Reva Mae Ewing went to be with the Lord at the age of 91.

She was born in Kansas as Reva Mae Buchman. She married her soul mate Harold T. Ewing, Dec. 18, 1949. They moved to Walla Walla in 1956. They had three children, Lanetta Romero, Betty O'Dell and Sheryl Smith; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

She was a pre-school teacher for over 20 years; her passion was always her family and friends. Her love for the Lord was like no other. She would tell everyone she encountered to “Have a Happy Day.” On her daily walks, rain or shine you could spot her with her walker, red coat and blue shoes.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Ewing; their precious baby boy, Cecil.

The Memorial Funeral Service will be at Blue Mountain Community Church on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
