Raymond Lee Phillips

Raymond (Buzz) Phillips born in 1937, died December 1, 2017. He was born to Raymond R. and Edith Phillips in Wareagle, Arkansas. Buzz worked highway construction.

Family was the most important and like most grandpas, loved bouncing the little ones on his knee. Buzz and Hallie belonged to Many Waters RV Club and he enjoyed RVing, hunting mushrooms and picking huckleberries. He belonged to Christ Community Fellowship.

Buzz is survived by his wife, Hallie of 57 years; sons, Donald R. Phillips of Vancouver, WA, Michael and wife Mary Phillips of Waitsburg; daughters, Michelle and husband Robert Welch of Connell, WA, and Angela and husband Ed Gibson of Tri-Cities; brothers, Robert and wife Kari Phillips, Gene and Dean Phillips, Bill Phillips, David and wife Debbie Crawford; sisters, Shirley and husband Louis Deluca and Jeannie Wolfe. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nephew and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Buttice; and son, Ricky Lee Phillips; and parents.

Services will be held on December 9, 2017, at 1 PM at the Christ Community Fellowship, followed by a reception.
