Ramiro Trevino

May 22, 1956 — January 22, 2018

Walla Walla

Ramiro Trevino, 61, was born on May 22, 1956 to Ramiro Trevino Sr. and Gloria Raz in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Our Father attended school in Mexico. Until he lost his father and had to take over to provide for his brothers and siblings. Becoming the hardworking man we all know today. He inherited his father’s beautiful singing voice and used that talent to accomplish his dreams of singing in a band and record records. Gaining enough recognition to open for big time artists in Mexico and was even requested to sing with them. At the same time our dad worked odd jobs to provide for his family driving semi-trucks and working on ranches.

He later married and had his first son Elliot Ramiro Trevino in 1983 and then 1984 Ramiro welcomed another son, Diego Orlando Trevino while still living in Mexico. He later moved his family to the United States around 1986 in hopes of giving my brothers and I a better way of life. He then welcomed his only daughter, Celeste Trevino in 1987 while he and his family resided in Dayton, WA. Our dad resided in Dayton from 1986 to 2006. He fell in love with the community of Dayton and the beauty of the surrounding hill and mountains, he was proud of his new home. He then relocated to Walla Walla, WA until his untimely death. Our dad would visit the YMCA on a daily basis and many friends. Over the years the people of Walla Walla all knew who he was and enjoyed talking with him. He was even a volunteer far the Salvation Army. He spoke of how much he enjoyed ringing the bell during Christmas outside of Safeway.

Ramiro is survived by his 2 sons, Elliot Ramiro Trevino and Diego Orlando Trevino, as well as his Daughter Celeste Trevino. His brothers Roberto Trevino Raz and Hector Gpe Trevino Raz. His Sisters Gloria “Chacha” Olivia Santos, Romelia “May” Trevino Raz and Rosio “Maty” Martina Trevino Raz.

He lives on through us and through his grandchildren, Kameryn Wendy Tupling, Marissa Raquel Tupling, Elias Orlando Trevino, Brilla Rae Trevino and Deagal L. Hawes. He adored his grandchildren, spoiling them with toys and candies, never once forgetting birthdays and game days.

Our beloved dad will be dearly missed by so many and will live on in our hearts forever. His jokes, his kind smile, and his warm heart will never be forgotten. My brothers and I would love to thank everyone for their condolences, the amount of support has helped us tremendously through the loss of our Pops.
