Pedro Gonzales Sanchez

Pedro G Sanchez passed away peacefully with his family by his side Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

He was born on August 30, 1937 to Juan & Guadalupe Sanchez. Pedro married Maria E Sanchez in 1959 in Weiser, ID. They relocated to Walla Walla, WA in 1961.

Pedro & Maria have six beautiful children that were raised in Walla Walla. Pedro started his journey here in Walla Walla in 1957 where he worked with local farmers. Eventually he established his employment as head custodian of Davis Elementary school where he worked for 29 years. There he made many life long friends who he considered as his second family.

Pedro met the love of his life at a movie theater in Weiser, ID. From that day forward the two were inseparable for the rest of their lives. Together they enjoyed spending time with family and friends. That also enjoyed spending time at local area casinos.

Pedro was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Maria E Sanchez & his parents, Juan & Guadalupe Sanchez. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert (Leticia) Sanchez, Olga (Jeff) Dyer, Maria Sanchez, Linda (Phil) Jones, Delia Sanchez, Pedro (Kim) Sanchez, sixteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, his brothers & sisters, Micaela (Carlos), Margarita, Alfonso, Maria del Refugio (Francisco), Manuel, Juan (Maria), Guadalupe.

A viewing will be held at Herring Groseclose funeral home located at 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla, WA from 2:00 pm to 6 pm, Thursday December 21, 2023 with the rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Assumption Catholic Church located at 2098 E Alder St, Walla Walla, WA, Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow.  Flowers may be sent to the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
