Pauline "Polly" Manning

May 21, 1925 — April 5, 2014

Pauline “Polly” Manning, 88, of Walla Walla passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Providence St. Mary Hospital. Pauline loved working at the Elks, her garden and flowers and being with family and friends. She especially loved fishing with her husband John and family. If she was not out fishing she loved to cook.

Visitation for Pauline is Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery.

Pauline was born May 21, 1925, to Alonzo and Irene Litts who preceded her in death. On June 14, 1946, she married John Manning.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 67 years, John Manning; son, Barry Manning (Melanie) of Odin, Ill., Jerry Manning (Shirley) of Walla Walla; sister, Mildred Snively of Grantsville, Utah; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
