Pauline Roberta Malloy Fullerton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Feb. 7, 2018, at the age of 96.
Pauline was born Feb. 4, 1922, to John and Pearl Malloy in Olympia. She was the 2nd daughter of five to the family. She graduated high school from St. Vincent Academy in 1939. She then attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing, graduating in 1942 with her RN degree. She married Wayne O. Fullerton, Oct. 16, 1942. They made their home in Walla Walla raising their three daughters.
She worked for Dr. Ralph Stevens for many years. In retirement Wayne and Pauline spent years traveling together seeing the U.S. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, reading, gardening and cooking, especially for family gatherings. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and Altar Society. She volunteered at SMMC and St. Vincent DePaul.
Survived by her children, Kim Bainter (Fred), Jan Brown, Donna Hughes (Randy); grandchildren, Chris Brown (Cassie), Jessie End (Josh); great-granddaughter, Emalee Brown; sisters, Phyllis Webb and Jackie Fure; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; son-in-law, Rob Brown; sisters, Patricia Kavanaugh and Margaret Heistuman.
A private family service was held.
