Paul D. Dodson of College Place, WA joined his beloved wife, Thelma, in Heaven on November 24, 2015.
Paul was born in Milton, OR in 1933. He was a lifetime member of Roofers Union, Local 189. Paul had the distinct pride of being involved with the roofing of the Seattle Space Needle for the 1962 Worlds Fair. Prior to being a roofer, he had the distinguished honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps serving in combat overseas during the Korean War.
Paul is survived by 3 of his 9 siblings, his four living children; Doris of Walla Walla, DeWayne of Carson, WA, Linda (Alan) and David (Chila) of College Place. Paul considered himself blessed by numerous grandkids and great grandkids. Paul was preceded in death by multiple family and friends, including his son, Dennis, of LaFayette, IN.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Tuesday, December 1st, at 2 pm at the Mountain View Cemetery on 2nd Ave, Walla Walla. In lieu of flowers, Paul would have wanted donations made in he and his wife's names to the American Lung Association through the Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
