Patsy Delores Budau

Patsy Budau, 85, of Walla Walla, passed away on June 30, 2022. She was born on February 17, 1937, to Faun Privett and Jim Deford in Walla Walla. Viewing and Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, from 1 to 3 PM at Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The Funeral Service will be Monday, July 11, 2022, at 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Herring Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pastor Rick Ashlock will officiate.

Patsy Budau didn't finish high school as she chose to marry young to Rienhold “Rayne” Harold Budau on December 1, 1951. They were married for 55 years before his passing in 2006. During their marriage, they lived in several different places. One was in a two-room house at Scheffler Station beside the Snake River north of Eureka, WA, and another was in a box car in Scheffler for about seven years before moving back to Walla Walla.

Patsy worked as a CNA at the Odd Fellows Nursing home and for private individuals in their home. She also provided transportation for those that needed rides to appointments.

Patsy loved her Chihuahua dogs. She had several of them.

Patsy and Reinhold had 11 children together. There are eight boys and three girls. Patsy is survived by Ray Budau, Vicki Heisey (Terry), Kelly Budau, Herbert Budau all Walla Walla, Washington, Randy Budau (Christene) Spokane, Washington, Ronnie Budau (Sue) Finely, Washington, Debbie Pittillo (Art) Grandview, Washington, Tracy Percy (Bill) Burbank, Washington, Rayne Budau, North Dakota, Dale Budau, Yakima, Washington; sisters, Billie Merson, Walla Walla, Washington, Nancy Page (Dennis), Ellensburg, Washington, and Mickie Gardner (Robbie) Mooresville, North Carolina; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Patsy was proceeded in death by husband, Rienhold “Rayne" Budau; Son, Rickie Budau; mom, Faun Keeler; brother, Bob McGhee.
