Patricia Louise Testerman

Patricia Louise Testerman, 82, passed away on March 8, 2019 in Walla Walla, Washington.

Patty was born in Pullman, WA to and Doris and Edward Splichal. She went to Cheney High School and grew up on the family farm. She moved to Walla Walla in 1979 where she married Larry Testerman May 1, 1982 in Walla Walla, WA. She retired from St. Mary Medical Center as a switchboard operator, after a long career of 22 years. Patty volunteered at St. Mary’s for several years following her retirement.  She had an amazing heart for her family and could be found in the kitchen baking treats for her children and grandchildren. Her passion for holidays was contagious; her decorations in her home were always a joy to look forward to. She was a breast cancer survivor and fought Alzheimer’s for 14 years.

She is survived by her husband Larry Testerman, her four children Chris Kaplan (sp. Carol), Brian Adams (sp. Mikki), David Adams (sp. Connie Sander), Amie White (sp. Thomas White); and three step-children Tim Testerman, Michelle Floch and Pamela Astwood and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patty is preceded in death by Edward Splichal (father), Doris Splichal (mother), Helen Johnson (sister), and Jeffery Adams (son).

Viewing and Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2019 from 4:00PM–7:00PM at the Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home.  A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00AM at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens on Myra Road in College Place, Washington.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Breast Cancer Research Foundation through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA.
