Patricia Price

Patricia Price, 76, of Dixie died May 7, 2014, at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. She was born in Dayton, Oct. 26, 1937, to Harold and Viola Martin Blize.

She graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1955. On Aug. 13, 1955, she married Lawrence Price, her partner and best friend. She was a city girl who soon became a country girl riding horses and helping her father-in-law round up cattle. She enjoyed country living, her animals and trips with family. Through her fight with diabetes she was always upbeat, an inspiration to all around her.

Surviving is her husband at home; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dean Gerling of Walla Walla; son and partner, Richard and Kerri Price of Red Bluff, Calif.; brother, Dean Blize of Walla Walla; brothers-in-law, Dale and Barb Price, and David and Phyllis
Price; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew. Preceded in death by parents; sister-in-law, Nancy Blize; brother-in-law, Thomas Price. She is at peace now.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the National Diabetes Foundation, or charity of choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.

Per Patricia’s request there will be no service at this time. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. We want to thank Dr. Stroemel, Maria, and all the doctors and nurses who helped her through.
