Patricia Lavern Morrison

On Monday November 28, Patricia Lavern Morrison passed away. Patricia was named after her dad's brother, Lavern Jack Needham, who was killed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. She was loved dearly by her family and her passing leaves a void in our lives. She left us too soon at 75 years old. Patricia was born in Walla Walla at the old Providence St Mary's hospital, and she passed away at Providence St Mary's hospital. She lived her whole life in the Walla Walla area. She attended St Patrick's grade school, DeSales High School, and graduated from Walla Walla High School. Later she continued her education at the Walla Walla Community College in order to continue her work with the Walla Walla School District. She remained friends with her DeSales High School classmates and attended their class reunions.

Patricia was a member of St Patrick's parish, the YMCA, the Country Club, and played golf in ladies golf group at the Country Club. During her life she held a variety of jobs. She worked as a phone operator at the old St Mary's hospital, a secretary at Walla Walla Community College, a legal secretary, a teacher's aide, a substitute teacher, and worked with disadvantaged children in the Walla Walla school district. After retirement she became a Visiting Angel caring for those who needed home care.

Patricia loved spending time at Hell's Gate State Park taking her family on annual camping trips.
She is survived by her three children Jamie Johnston, Andrea Martinez, and Jake Morrison, her grandchildren Haylee Maiuri , Taylor Bogle, Ashley Martinez, James Johnston, Chris Torres, Jackson Morrison, bothers Joe Schamer and Jack Needham.
