Pamela Rae (White) Fisher was born October 18, 1951, in Auburn WA, to Alvin Ashton White and Evelyn (Colvin) White.
Pam attended Auburn Adventist Academy and graduated in 1969. In 1970, her family moved to College Place WA, to support her goal of a journalism degree from Walla Walla College.
On November 24, 1976, she married Wallace (Wally) Fisher, Jr., with her daughter Karmyn by their side.
Her career in journalism did not materialize, and she found herself in the financial brokerage business and later the banking industry. These were occupational jobs, but the most gratifying and important ones were as a caregiver to loved ones in need. She excelled at it.
Pam was a member of the Blue Mountain Audubon Society. She volunteered for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for ten years, and the children found a friend and protector in Pam. Pam was also a volunteer Blue Bird leader, a Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) member, a “head skipper” during family boating outings, a tournament racquetball player, a writer, and an artist. She also enjoyed researching and recording her genealogy.
Pam is preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Ron and Mike; sister, Nelda (Johnston); and one grandchild.
Pam is survived by her husband, Wallace Fisher; daughters, Karmyn (Raisl) Jennifer (Turner), and Amanda Fisher; brothers, Tom White and Nicholas White; sisters, Sandra (Hunton) and Patricia Hoerner Pothier; sons-in-law, David Raisl and Kristopher Turner; step sister-in-law, Jeannine (Baumgardner) Manny; step brother-in-law, Greg Baumgardner; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild she could not wait to meet along with many bonus kids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
