Norma Alicia Sandoval

Norma A. Sandoval, 45 of Walla Walla, passed away January 6th, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born to Victor Rodriguez and Maria Sandoval on June 12, 1974, in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico. Norma graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1993. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology from Washington State University.

Norma was simply one of a kind. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Norma was the best mother a child could ask for as well as a great friend to many. She excelled in accomplishing her goals; in turn, leading to many accomplishments and achievements. Thus, both being a role model and inspiring her children along the way. She was always caring, helpful and full of life, ultimately impacting all those around her. She had an immense love for her family, friends and traveling.  We are all devastated by the loss of this wonderful woman.

She is preceeded in death by her best friend Daryl Miller.

Norma is survived by her parents Victor Rodriguez and Maria Sandoval of Walla Walla. Two children: Michael and Christian Chavez of Walla Walla. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters; Alejandra Garcia of Zacatecas, Mexico, Emilio Sandoval of Pasco, Washington, Antonio Sandoval of Zacatecas, Mexico, Rosie Sandoval  of  Guanajuato , Mexico, Mark Rodriguez of Walla Walla and many nephews and nieces.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 6:00 pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church.   The Celebration of the Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Matthew Nicks, Celebrant.  A private family burial will follow the funeral mass.
