Mitchell Lee Hamper

Mitchell (Mitch) Lee Hamper, former Walla Walla
resident, 50, died Jan. 24, 2012, at his home in Prosser.

Mitch was born Aug. 18, 1961, in Walla Walla. He attended
Walla Walla schools and graduated in 1980.

Mitch worked at Sunheaven Farms in Prosser, as
an irrigation specialist for the past ten years. Prior to
that he worked for the City of Walla Walla for 20 years.

He loved riding his Harley, cooking and spending time
with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Hamper of Prosser;
daughters, Casey and Cassie Hamper, Walla Walla, and
Caitlin Rosman, Almira, Wash.; four grandchildren;
his parents, Don and Joanna Hamper of Walla Walla;
sister, Lynn Langley, Milton-Freewater; brother, Dean
Hamper of Milton-Freewater.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at 2
p.m., at Mountain View Cemetery with Father Patrick
Kerst of St. Patrick Catholic Church, officiant. Memorial
contributions can be made to the Blue Mountain Humane Society through Herring Funeral Home.
