Milton “Mick” Oden Knudson was born July 8, 1939, in Sidney, Mont. At age 2, his parents moved him and his two brothers and two sisters to Walla Walla. Mick found his place here and stayed all his life. At 17, he joined the Navy. Within a few years, he met and then married Jean Hulser on May 8, 1958. During their marriage, they raised three children, Randy, Mick Jr., and Bobbie Jo (Quam).
After the loss of Jean, Mick was able to find love once again with Rebecca (Gonzalez) along with her children; Tina, Tony, Rick and Rob. They were married on Sept. 20, 1996. On Aug. 13, 2014, at about 2:30 a.m., God opened His loving arms and took Mick back home.
He loved fishing, making music and carpentry work, but most of all spending time with family. Mick was always big on family and having God in the center of his life. He was always bringing God into peoples’ lives to show us that with Him all things are possible.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his brother, Everett and his wife, Barbara; his three children and their spouses; his four step-children and their spouses; his 24 grandchildren and their spouses; and 21 great grandchildren.
