Michael Daniel Gene Farance

Michael Daniel Gene Farance was born on April 24, 1949 in Walla Walla, Wa. He went to the Lord on May 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mary (Mae) Farance of Walla Walla, Wa. He is survived by first and second cousins and many friends.

He served in the Army in Germany and six years active reserves. He graduated from Washington State University with two degrees; one in political science and one in business. He spoke German and French and Russian fluently and loved to debate.

He was a very religious person and prayed for everyone, he was a kind and forgiving person. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lions Club.

Viewing & visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 1:00 PM until after the Rosary at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The Rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 5:30 PM also at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home. The Mass will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church through the funeral home.
