Matthew Melvin Page

Matthew Melvin Page passed away March 21, 2018 at Cottage in the Meadow in Yakima.

Matthew was born February 8, 1956 in Walla Walla, WA. to Melvin and Marian Heimbigner Page.  Matt was the younger brother of Mark Page.  The family lived on Carl Street with good neighbors across from Berney School.  Matt and Mark attended Berney School, Pioneer Jr. High and Wa-Hi.

Matt was proud of his family heritage and enjoyed all the family reunions at Pioneer Park and the farm.  He liked to remember Christmas, Easter, Birthdays and all the family occasions.   Matt was friendly and interested in people and listened to what you had to say.  He had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. Matt lived in Yakima for 40 years and valued his friends there, especially Ben and Julie.

He is survived by his Uncle Thomas and Aunt Maida of Walla Walla and Aunt Gloria Sells of Boise, as well as many cousins: Billy Ebding, the Page cousins: Carol, Mike, Susie, Jim, Patty, Jessi, Dave, Paula, Chuck, Tom, Jon, Bob, and Ben. The Herres cousins: David, Judy, Tim, Jenny, Jimmy, Ed; also many 2 ^nd and 3 ^rd cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark, Grandparents Orin and Hilma Page, Henry and Anna Heimbigner; Aunts and Uncles: Flora and Bill Ebding, Marilyn and Jim Herres; Page Uncles and Aunts: Orin Jr., Willis and Mary, David and Kathy; Cousins: Christine Page and Dennis Ebding.

Viewing and Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home from 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM. Monday April 2, 2018 at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens in College Place.  Family and Friends are invited to gather at the Page Farm after the service for refreshments.
