Maryann Jean Koebberling

March 1, 1965 — April 27, 2017

Weston

Maryann (Cannone) Koebberling, 52 of Weston, Oregon, passed away on April 27, 2017.

Maryann was a beautiful, loving person; she shared her love and happiness with everyone she met. She had a contagious smile that would light up a room when she entered. Maryann was always willing to help others and gave 100 percent of herself in everything she did, she had the ability to reach people in a deeply positive way.

Maryann was born to Albert and Giovanna Cannone on March 1, 1965 in Smithtown, NY; she was the youngest of 9 children. The Cannone family settled in Southern California in the early 1970's, where Maryann grew up, graduated high school in 1983, and briefly attended Chaffey Community College. Maryann's interests were dance and drama, and she performed in several college plays.

Maryann married Charles DeSalvo of Upland, CA in 1991 and they had 2 beautiful children together, Deven and Danielle. Maryann devoted her life to her children, family and friends. She enjoyed many activities with her children, including going to the beach, biking, visiting museums, and school activities; they were always on the go. Maryann also loved camping in her travel trailer, and the family went on many camping trips. Ventura, CA was one of her favorite camping spots.

Maryann and her family moved to Walla Walla in 2005, where she settled her family and became part of the community. Her son Deven and his wife Elissa gave birth to Maryann's grandson, Charlie, on August 13, 2016, and Charlie became a great passion in Maryann’s life. Maryann's daughter, Danielle is currently attending Eastern Washington University while majoring in education, and Maryann’s visits to Cheney were a topic of great excitement for her.

Maryann met Kenny Koebberling of Weston, Oregon and they enjoyed many activities together. They loved to go dancing, and Kenny taught Maryann how to western dance. They rode horses and snowmobiles (or as she called it, their ski-doos) together, and Maryann enjoyed cooking wonderful meals, which fulfilled another of her great passions. Recently Maryann started gardening, as she found the work on their beautiful property to be very relaxing. Maryann and Kenny went to Italy last year and had the vacation of a lifetime! Maryann and Kenny were married on April 15, 2017.

Maryann found her calling as an in-home care provider for the elderly. She was loved by her clients and they treated her as their own daughter. She also loved her dog "Riley", and took him everywhere she went.

Maryann is survived by her husband Kenny Koebberling, her son Deven DeSalvo and wife Elissa, Daughter Danielle DeSalvo and her grandson Charlie DeSalvo. She is also survived by her brother, John Paul Cannone (wife Jeanette), brother Daniel Cannone (wife Pam), brother Joseph Cannone, brother Robert Cannone, brother Vincent Cannone (wife Kelle), sister JoAnn Borbon (husband Russell), sister Mimi Annandono (husband Michael), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
