Mary Louise Abajian

Mary Louise Abajian, passed away on June 26, 2012. MaryLou was born in Walla Walla on July 21, 1923, to Charles and Josephine Hooper.

MaryLou was raised in Walla Walla except for a short time in Portland, Oregon and graduated
from Wa-Hi in 1941. MaryLou met John Abajian at the Officers Club at the airbase. They were married in 1945 and stayed married for 66 years. John passed away in March of 2012.

MaryLou is survived by Jim and Rhonda Abajian, Kelly and Pat Welch, Rich and Joann Abajian, and Scott and Mary Abajian, and many grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

MaryLou was a avid golfer and past member of the 18 Hole Women's Golf Association at Walla
Walla Country Club. She was very talented and could make quilts, clothing, blankets and she also
loved to read. She was a wonderful mother and a great wife.
