Marjorie L. Saranto, age 106, died November 1, 2024, in Walla Walla. Born at Marengo Station, WA, she lived her life in the Walla Walla Valley.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Ingle Chapel Church in Milton Freewater, with a dinner to follow. A private graveside service will be held Saturday.
Marjorie is survived by daughters, Kathleen Garbe of Touchet, Melinda Crowley of Long Beach, WA, Cynthia Hexum of Walla Walla; son, Charles Saranto and wife Sheri of Touchet; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ingle Chapel Church or the Fort Walla Walla Museum through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W Alder St, Walla Walla WA 99362. Friends and family are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.herringgroseclose.com.
