Marjorie Norma Grudzinski

Marjorie Norma (Nelson) Grudzinski, 85 of Walla Walla, Washington, died March 26, 2012 at Park Manor Rehabiliation Center surrounded by her family.

She was born May 22, 1926 in Boles Junction, Washington, the daughter of the late Oscar & Verlie Nelson. She was their only child.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic L. Grudzinski and son-in-law, Rick Malchow.

Marjorie worked in Walla Walla, Washington at Rogers Cannery for over 20 years. She loved to spend time with family & friends. She lived to attend potlucks and play Bingo with her friends at the Odd Fellows Home. Marjorie also enjoyed collecting newspaper articles and pictures of all her loved ones.

Marjorie is survived by her two children, Richard (Marilyn) Grudzinski of Harrison, TN; and Marjorie Malchow of Richland, WA; 5 grandchildren, Cody (Carie) Keeley of Hayden, ID, Trevor (Becky) Grudzinski, Tonia Grudzinski all of Chattanooga, TN, Stacey(Amy) Malchow of Walla Walla, WA and Marty (Robyn) Malchow of Richland, WA.

She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Christopher Turner, Alexis Turner, Kevin Beasley Jr., Kennedy Beasley, Trent Grudzinski, Kindell Grudzinski all of Chattanooga, TN, Miranda Keeley of Hayden, ID, Gabriel Malchow of Richland, WA and Rachel Malchow of Walla Walla, WA and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Viewing & visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Father Tyler Smedley officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
