Marilyn Louise Ducatte

Marilyn Louise Ducatte, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Walla Walla, Washington, on July 17, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1955, in Missoula, Montana, attended college in Flagstaff, Arizona, and raised her two daughters in Bellingham, Washington.

Marilyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, best friend, and sister whose presence touched the lives of all who knew her. She earned her bachelor’s degree and dedicated her professional life to administrative healthcare before retirement.

Outside of her career, Marilyn found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved tending to her bird feeders, listening to music (in particular Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen), watching the Seattle Mariners and Seahawks, and spending time with her loved ones, especially her new grandbabies.

Marilyn’s gentle spirit and caring heart will be deeply missed by many and will continue to be felt for years to come.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the memories we shared with her. We will cherish those memories forever and carry her love with us always.
