Margaret Elizabeth Schwarz Stanton was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington. She was born on October 30, 1930 and passed away quietly on January 26, 2015, at Odd Fellows Rehabilitation Center in Walla Walla after living a life filled with friends. The family is grateful for the love and care that was shown to her and the family by everyone that lives on Jewel and those who serve at the Odd Fellows.
Margaret was the daughter of Karl and Hilda Schwarz. She and her brothers Karl and Robert “Bob” were raised in a home were hospitality was shown to any and all that visited. You were always greeted at her home with “What can I get you?”.

She was an excellent bookkeeper and administrative assistant and she always took great pride in her work.
In 1957, Margaret met and married Bill Stanton. Together, they raised Will Stanton and Marjie Stanton-Burmood. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor. She was proud of her grandchildren’s accomplishments and they brought her great joy.
