Margaret Kissock Adams

August 30, 1928 — October 3, 2014

Margaret Kissock Adams, 86, of Walla Walla passed
away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014.

Born Aug. 30, 1928, in Minneapolis, she was the eldest
daughter of the late Gordon Kissock and Faith
Stafford Kissock.

Her husband, Frederick Adams, preceded her in
death. She is survived by two daughters, Jane Vagstad
of Tokyo, Japan, and Deborah McGill of San Diego;
and one son, Thomas Adams of Houston, Texas;
one brother, Craig Kissock of Houston; and eight
grandchildren, Marit Vagstad, Anna Vagstad, Kari
Vagstad, Lara Vagstad, Kathryn McGill, Kyle McGill,
Kevin McGill and Elinor Adams.

Margaret worked as a homemaker, elementary school
teacher’s aide and secretary for St. Peter’s Episcopal
Church in San Pedro, Calif., and Marymount California
University in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. She was
also a devoted volunteer throughout her life at her
churches and at Fort Walla Walla and Walla Walla
Community Hospice.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at St. Paul’s Episcopal
Church, Walla Walla. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 323
Catherine St., Walla Walla, WA 99362.
