Maclovia Caldwell Kroum

Maclovia Caldwell Kroum passed away December 29, 2014. Maclovia was born January 10, 1936 in the New Mexico village of Yrissari.

In November of 1952, at the age of 16, she married Charles E. Kroum. Maclovia worked as a nurse’s aide and as a Para Educator/Spanish Interpreter for Prescott School District. She was known for her giving heart and charitable contributions. One of her most satisfying pleasures was visiting friends in area nursing homes and dancing on weekends.

Maclovia is preceded in death by her husband and son, Joseph. She is survived by sons, Russell (Leslie) and Rick. She is also survived by grandsons, Ryan (Shelly), Randy (Tanya, ggd Kaylen Elizabeth Maclovia), Zackeri (Kate), step grandson, Bryce Hansen, and step granddaughter, Callie Bayer (Beckett, ggd Avery Ann).

Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Aid Center in her honor through the Herring Funeral Home. The family is hosting a celebration of life on her birthday, January 10th from noon to 4:00 pm at 298 Summers Circle, Walla Walla for family and friends.
