Lynn Brough Lunden

Our beloved Lynn Lunden passed away peacefully Friday on April 22.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; sons, John Glase (wife Janelle), Tom Glase (wife Amy); grandchildren, Winston, Amelia, Tadhg, Finn and Kai; her mother, Teckla Brough; and sister, Bonnie Keeney (husband Tom). She also has two step-daughters, Laurie and Ashli Lunden in Victoria, British Columbia. Lynn was a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Earlier in her career Lynn taught elementary school on Bainbridge Island. She was an executive at AAA and eventually moved to Walla Walla, where she has worked at Whitman College as the Associate Vice President for Development the past sixteen years.
Additionally, she volunteered for many organizations, including Cancer Lifeline and Rotary. She remained active with Kappa Kappa Gama, a sorority she belonged to while attending college.
Lynn touched many lives and brought joy to all with her kind and gentle spirit. Those who knew her learned a life lesson every day. She was (and still is) a force to be reckoned with.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, at 3 p.m. at Cordiner Hall, Whitman College, 44 S. Park, Walla Walla. A reception will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Walla Walla Community Hospice, Providence St. Mary Foundation or Whitman College through Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla.
