Lynn Loiseau of Walla Walla died peacefully on March 22, 2023; she was 75. Born May 11, 1947, in Pasco Washington to Tom and Mary Jean Perry, she attended schools in Pasco until the family moved to Walla Walla in 1958. She graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1965. Following high school, Lynn attended Washington State University studying Fine Art, Design and general studies.
She spent several years in Seattle building a career and in 1970, she married Leon 'Lee' Loiseau in Walla Walla. The couple made their home in Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood, then later in Mercer Island. The couple returned to Walla Walla in 2009 and recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. Lee preceded her in death on January 22 of this year.
Lynn became an expert accountant and had a great sense for business. Throughout her career, she was a Controller (lead financial role), working primarily in the printing and publishing industry. She was a strong and caring woman who cherished time with family and friends.
The first of five children, she was the de facto leader and blazed the trail of parental training, much to the benefit of the siblings who followed. She maintained a keen interest in art throughout her life and was an excellent cook and baker. Lynn was a quiet person with a wry sense of humor who wove strong relationships. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lynn is survived by sisters Sally Erb and Andi Hitchcock, and brother Mark Perry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her other brother, James (Jim) Perry preceded her in death.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Herring-Groseclose Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an organization of your choice.
