Lou was a great sports fan—both playing himself & watching his TV and best of all, seeing his sons & grandchildren’s games & matches. He loved golf & he and Pat played together at home and all over the US & Europe. He also was a happy fisherman. He was very active teaching his sons & coaching early baseball years. Lou was a dedicated Boy Scout leader hiking into Eagle Cap in the Wallowa’s with the troop every summer & acquired Father & Sons Award.
In the late 70s, Lou had a chance to work at the Corps division in Frankfurt, Germany for 5 ½ years, pairing with NATO; a fantastic tour for him & Pat with travel all over Europe.
Lou cherished his family & loved being with them as much as possible; Loon Lake summers & skiing winters among others.
