Lorene G. Buff

Lorene G. Buff of 817 N. Main St. Apt. B-5 Walla Walla, WA went home to Heaven on Saturday the 7th of March.

She was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on October 11th, 1942 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrison and raised in Deerfield. She graduated from Bridgeton High in 1961. She then married Rufus Buff Jr. of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. She gave birth to a son, Scott in 1964. In 1975 Lorene received her L.P.N. degree at Cumberland County Vo-Tech in Millville, New Jersey. She worked at Vineland State School with the special needs people for many years. She later graduated barber school . She went on to nurse and cut hair in High Point, North Carolina and finally all over eastern WA state.

She was a member of the Blue Mt. Community Church. One of her favorite verses was Exodus 3 14

She is survived, and missed greatly by, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sherry Buff of Walla Walla WA. Her "grandest daughter" and "favorite" son-in-law, Christopher and Nicole Pennington and her "great grandest" children, Andrew Stidham & Claire Pennington all of College Place ,WA. Older brother Charles and family and younger sister Myra Hawley and family all of New Jersey.

Lorene requested no formal service and her cremated remains to be spread in the Great Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. In lieu of flowers she requested donations made to St. Judes Children Hospital ,or the Salvation Army, of which she had volunteered.
