Linda Jean Hermann

Linda Jean Hermann, 47, of Walla Walla, became the Lord’s angel on Jan. 4, 2012, after a long battle with breast cancer.

Linda was born May 22, 1964, in Spokane, to William and Christine Oleson. She met the love of her life Michael W. Hermann in Walla Walla. They were married on Sept. 24, 1983. Linda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She always had a big loving heart and a smile that could light up the room and her laughter could put a smile on anyone. She enjoyed watching her son Michael play football and spending time with her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed her loving dog Molly.

Linda is survived by her husband, Michael Sr.; daughter, Shannon and husband Matthew McGehee; son, Michael Jr.; grandchildren, Bryan and Breanna; brother, Dan; sister Wanda; brother, Bill; mother and father-in-law, Lenora and Walter Hermann. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Christine Oleson; and brother, Ronald Oleson.

Our hearts are sad with the loss of Linda, but rejoiced that she has entered the Lord’s kingdom and her body has been renewed without pain or suffering and has been given eternal life. We love you momma!

Services will be held at Herring Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, on Saturday Jan. 14, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. A burial ceremony will follow at Blue Mountain Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society through Herring Groseclose Funeral Home.
