Lenore Elaine Snyder Zaro was born to Edgar and Marguerite Faure Snyder on May 26, 1935, in Walla Walla. She passed away March 13, 2016, at Eagle Springs in College Place, while under the care of hospice.
Lenore worked 42½ years in the business office for Walla Walla School District #140 as payroll clerk. She started right out of high school. She took eight years off to be with the boys when they where young. She
was then called back to work again. Lenore loved to sew and make clothes for herself and shirts for the boys. Lenore was the only child, so she loved to be around Louis’s big family when they were dating.
Lenore was a member of St. Francis Church.
Lenore leaves behind her husband, Louis Zaro of 62 years; sons, Brent (Becky) Zaro, Brian (Leslie) Zaro, Bruce Zaro and Brad Zaro; grandchildren, Brandon Zaro, Sarah Zaro, Laura Zaro, Courtney Zaro, Kristopher Zaro, Greg Zaro and Bryce Zaro; in-laws, Harry
(Lois) Zaro, Joe (Kathy) Landoni, Elaine Scholl, Betty Scoralle, Nancy (Gary) Thompson; cousins, Rose (Lee) Faure Owsley and Doug Snyder. Preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Bill Scholl, Don
Scoralle and Francis Zaro Baker.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Chapel of Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at the
funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Walla Walla Hospice through the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to sign
