Lawrence Dublinski of College Place, WA, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was 90 years old.
Larry was born in Chicago, IL, to Rosalie and Lawrence Dublinski. He graduated from Austin High School, then joined the Air Force, where he served for 5 years. He married Mary Kapaun in 1956. After his military service, they moved to Chicago, where he attended Northwestern University and earned a degree in Physical Therapy.
The growing family moved to Walla Walla, where Larry worked for the V.A. Hospital. He also worked for St. Mary’s Hospital and Park Manor Nursing Home. Larry retired from the V.A. as Director of Rehabilitation Services.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; his son, Eric (Betsy); his sister, Kathleen (Joe); and his parents. He is survived by his children, Nancy, Dr. Katherine, Fr. Steven, Bonnie (Mike), Thomas, and Darlene (Chris); stepchildren, Christina (David) and Matthew (Shell); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews and a niece.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 6:30 PM, at the Chapel of the Herring Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 2120 S. 2nd Ave. A reception will be held after the burial at St. Patrick’s Hall.
