Laura Lee Henderson

After a lifelong battle with diabetes Laurie passed away August 2nd, 2022. Laurie was born in 1956 to Joanne Stiller-Keen and Lawrence W. Keen in Walla Walla. Her parents were divorced when Laurie was very young; after some time her mother remarried Herbert Lathrop who adopted Laurie at the age of 5 and was forever her Daddy. Laurie moved quite a bit as a child, from Washington to Alaska, California back to Washington over to Virginia, where she graduated high school in 1974 from Herndon High School. She ended up full circle back in Walla Walla. In 1986 Laurie married Ron Henderson, who came with 2 boys whom she considered her sons. In 1990 they added a 3rd boy to the family. Laurie was very creative, her passion was working with her hands making all sorts of crafts, and beautiful flower arrangements along with a deep love of wildlife. Laurie is survived by her mother and stepfather Joanne and Raymond Russell, her sister Kelli Johnson, her husband Ron Henderson, 3 sons and their families, Troy, Kasey Henderson Bret, Crystal Henderson, Derek Henderson, 3 grandchildren, Emilee, Marshall, and Lilly, and 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Laurie was preceded by her brother Robert, her Daddy, her birthfather, her father in-law, her grandparents, and her beloved Lucky dog.
