Kristine Richardson

Kristine Richardson, at the age of 69, passed peacefully into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Kristine was born to John and Esther Richardson on December 30, 1952, in Walla Walla. She attended Edison Elementary, Pioneer Junior High, Wa-Hi, and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Special Education. Kristine spent the majority of her career teaching at McLoughlin Middle School in Pasco, where she was thought of with love and respect by her “kids” and peers. She retired from there after 30 years of service. Kristine enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

She is survived by her sisters, Penny (John) Backstrom of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Heidi (John) Mattimoe of Walla Walla; brother, Jay (Laurie) Richardson of Walla Walla; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At this time, no services are planned.
