Kimm Lori Torres

Kimm Torres lost her battle with cancer on October 14, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side.

Kimm was born in Walla Walla on January 24, 1957 to Allen and Thelma Goldberg. She lived her whole life in Walla Walla, graduating from Walla Walla High School in 1975 and from Walla Walla Community College in 1989 with her degree in cosmetology. She married Ricardo Torres on May 31, 1989 and together they raised their children, Andrea and Christopher.

Kimm enjoyed crafts, music, and vacations to the beach. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Goldberg; her mother Thelma Bynum; brother, Darrell Northburg; and sister, Sandra Arruda. She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Torres; her brother, Jeff Northburg (Karen) of Aitkin, MN; son, Brian Mikesell of Marysville, WA; daughter, Andrea Schreindl of Walla Walla; son, Christopher Torres of Walla Walla, and 6 grandchildren.

The Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 23, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA 99362. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Regional Cancer Center through the funeral home.
